ANDROID SDK INSTALLATION / LOCATION DOUBTS

Hello folks ,
Running : BBQLinux + KDE Plasma 5

I was tinkering around with the android sdk and i tired running it from the start and it crashed ( sorry didn't take the log) . I thought the android sdk that was installed at /home/user/Android. So i un-installed the android sdk  ( pacman -Rns android-sdk) . Well it did not remove /home/user/Android. I then checked that it was installed at /opt/android-sdk. I now again installed android-sdk from BBQlinux and its installing at /opt/android-sdk (pacman -S bbqlinux/android-sdk) . I just wanted to know if the /home/user/Android is only for Android Studio or is it somehow symlinked to /opt/android-sdk . I get that android studio cant read from /opt/android-sdk , so does this mean we have two SDK installed and BBQ updates (pacman -Syu) only /opt/android-sdk ? or both??

and if both are diff , from where is my ADB running?

Thanks !
Love the OS btw

Re: ANDROID SDK INSTALLATION / LOCATION DOUBTS

android-sdk = /opt/android-sdk

Everything under /home is not really part of bbqlinux. You must have been installed it manually to /home/user/Android.
You have to run android studio with root privileges.
